Do you remember the extreme Alfa Romeo 4C I recorded last year? Believe it or not the one you see here is the same car. Well, “same” is a big word…

At first I thought it was a complete new project of the Italian hillclimb driver Marco Gramenzi but for what I’ve understood the car is a complete revisitation of the 2016 4C. So first of all the 600hp 4-cylinder engine has been replaced by a Zytek 3.0-litre V8 engine (same used on various F3000 cars and hillclimb protos) with around 450 hp on a car that weighs around 700 kgs. The body kit and the aero package has been redesigned a lot and many other mechanical parts have been changed as well as the steering box and general setup to fit better the new 18-inch wheels.

The video is from the 2017 Verzegnis — Sella Chianzutan hillclimb where this 4C was present in order to make a few test runs. And for my personal tastes I think that V8 fits perfectly a car like this!
