MI7 Magic Begins on July 12

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part 1 has already sold 25,000 seats for its extended opening weekend in India, with PVR and Inox alone selling 25,000. 12,000 of the 25,000 tickets are for the opening day alone. In addition, the first day is a working Wednesday. The film’s release date is still more than a week away. These figures indicate that MI:7 will almost certainly open larger than Fast X in India.

MI:7’s domestic bookings are also quite strong. Based on advance bookings, the film is expected to earn roughly $100 million in its extended opening weekend, with the remainder depending on how well it is accepted by viewers. Early screenings received overwhelmingly positive feedback, but ultimately, it is all about how the film works for a bigger segment of the audience that matters.

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One is directed and written by Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, and Cary Elwes. The film will be released in theatres on July 12, 2023.
