Pippa Movie is a Bollywood war epic film based on the book “The Burning Chaffees” by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. It chronicles the narrative of Captain Balram Singh Mehta, played by Ishaan Khatter, who led India’s 45 Cavalry unit during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, which resulted in the establishment of Bangladesh. Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan play Balram’s siblings, who also served in the conflict.The film was helmed by Raja Krishna Menon, with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur serving as its producers. Oscar winner A.R. Rahman composed the music.
