Poetry from a Pod at Gatwick Airport — An anxious foot: tap, tap, tap, Leg restless, far beyond control. A small swarm of butterflies, Awakening from their slumber. A slight pang of homesickness, A sudden yearning for what’s known. And then exhiliration, At the prospect of adventure. This is the world of travel, Growing, creating memories. It’s time to embrace the fear, Write a tale to remember. Thank you for reading. I write this as I’m lounging in a tiny capsule at London’s Gatwick Airport in preparation for a flight to Costa Rica. Be sure to follow for updates on what will by my first international adventure in several years x
