(Disclaimer: I use iPhone 6 so I have limited experience with 3D Touch. Don’t know if that’s a big factor here)

I personally almost *never* use the widget thing — — Both on Desktop and mobile. To me this whole new Lockscreen does seem a big mess, but the good side is I don’t really use them.

Good article by the way. I wish Apple’s design team could be more careful about putting all the blocks on the lockscreen and try to think more about scalability.
