Wong’s Ice Cream

On Saturday, June 1o, we attended the soft opening of Wong’s Ice Cream, which we were personally invited to by the owner himself, Ed Wong.

This is Ed Wong. He was super friendly!

Wong’s Ice Cream is Ed Wong’s startup business located in Toronto’s east side, but was originated in Hamilton as Henry Brown’s Small Batch Ice Cream.

Their unique, Asian inspired flavours are definitely what makes them stand out.

Decisions decisions!

It was a hard decision, and we basically sampled them all, but we decided on double scoops (obviously) of the ube and black sesame salted duck egg for Arielle (me) and the chocolate yuzu and Vietnemese coffee for Anthony. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed in our decision!

We know Wong’s Ice Cream will do well, and we wish it was closer to our condo on the west side, but we’re always up for an east side adventure!

We can’t wait to return :)
