Bryan Eggert, one of the professional judges of Formula Drift breaks down the magic of winning Formula Drift, a USA based motorsport drifting series since 2004.

Drifting has had a long history from street racers going on mountain runs, to the use of the technique in more traditional motorsports such as circuit racing or rally, it’s only natural that it has become a category and competition of its own.

But how does a sport like drifting which could be seen as objective to everyone, akin to olympic sports such as figure skating and synchronised swimming get judged and scored?
