Telegram is preparing many useful features that are related to user activity on the platform.

Profile Rating

Each user will be able to find out what level their account is at, depending on how much Stars they spend in Telegram. All they have to do is click on the corresponding bar. Users will be able to use the rating to demonstrate their solvency and level of involvement in the Telegram gift market.

The higher the level, the more opportunities the account will receive for certain actions.

The rating will be divided into levels. For example, if a user is at level 74, he needs to achieve 934,000 points to move to a new level.

• The Telegram profile rating will take into account the entire amount of Stars that the user spent on gifts purchased through the official messenger platform.

The user's rating may also decrease:

1. The reduction will be equal to ten times the amount of funds received from the return of Stars. We are talking about using the mechanism for returning purchased Stars - the presence of such an option is required by app stores to comply with local laws.
2. The rating reduction will also be equal to 85% of the value of the gift that the user decided to exchange back for Stars. This includes gifts that Telegram has issued, but they have not yet been turned into collectibles.

Telegram will alert the user when their rating is updated to the current value, emphasizing that some unaccounted spent points are pending.

Buying and selling gifts for TON

Telegram will allow you to buy gifts on its official secondary marketplace not only for Stars, but also for TON. The corresponding gifts, for which the seller accepts the Toncoin cryptocurrency, will be marked with a corresponding icon.

• According to the changes found on the test server, when buying a gift listed for Stars, Telegram will offer to pay for it using TON, "so as not to wait 21 days before resending the gift."
• The owner of the gift can choose to sell only for TON - according to the messenger, if the buyer pays in Toncoin, there will be no risk of refund, unlike payments in Stars.

• The minimum price for sale is 1 Toncoin, the maximum is 100,000 Toncoin. Commission is 10% of each sale for Toncoin, 20% for Stars. (The figures are current at the time of publication of the note) .
• Those who sold the gift for Toncoin will receive this cryptocurrency on their TON balance in their personal profile. The received cryptocurrency cannot be withdrawn - only used, for example, to pay for paid publication offers in channels (data relevant at the time of publication of the note).

The messenger is introducing this innovation, including against the backdrop of high-profile situations related to the actions of intruders.

Global search for publications

Previously, Telegram search indexed only those channels to which the user was subscribed. However, now a new feature will allow searching for publications in all channels - this will be available only to owners of a Telegram Premium subscription.

To use it, you need to do the following:

1. You need to open the search by clicking the corresponding button at the top of the screen.
2. Next, you should go to the "Publications" section.
3. After this, you will need to enter keywords (for example, Telegram News) and click the "Search" button.
4. The messenger will display a feed with relevant publications.

Please note: with a Premium subscription, you can make about 10 search queries per day. Once you've used up all your available queries, you'll have to pay Stars.

By the time the feature is released to the public, the free search limit may change. It is also not yet clear whether paying with Stars will allow you to search unlimitedly throughout the day or only make one search request for this amount.

What else will appear?

Telegram will now have the ability to sort stories by albums, as well as the ability to share links to them with others.
