Introducing MetaMask Swaps by Consensys MetaMask. This feature includes integration of Totle’s order-routing for decentralized exchange!
We are thrilled to announce that Totle has been integrated into MetaMask’s newest feature, MetaMask Swaps. This upgrade allows users to easily swap tokens directly in the MetaMask interface without having to navigate to several decentralized exchange providers. MetaMask automatically routes orders to the venue with best execution by utilizing several dex aggregators including Totle! This integration advances Totle’s mission of making crypto exchange decentralized and accessible by everyone. Fair global markets are one step closer to reality with this release!
There are several advantages to using MetaMask Swaps over a single provider, including fewer approvals, reduced gas costs and slippage protection. More information from the MetaMask team can be found at their blog post.
Getting Started
- Open the MetaMask extension
- Navigate to Swaps
- Select the tokens you want to swap and click ‘Get quotes’
- Wait for the magic to happen
- MetaMask will help you select the best quote, but will also present all other available rates to help you understand how each quote compares to another
- Click on ‘Swap’ and wait until the transaction completes
