Real Madrid’s key midfielder Jude Belliam has been suspended for two games.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) suspended Bellingham from two games on the 7th for expressing anger at the referee just before the header goal in the 27th round of the 2023–2024 La Liga between Real and Valencia.
In addition, Beliam was fined 600 euros (about 870,000 won) and Real 700 euros (about 1.01 million won).
On the 3rd, Real drew 2–2 with Valencia. There was an unfair decision at the time. In the second half extra time, Bellingham shook the net with a header. The final goal allowed Real to win a dramatic come-from-behind victory, but referee Gil Mansano blew the end whistle as the cross came up.

The Real team rushed to Mansano and strongly protested the decision, and Bellingham appealed the referee’s decision most strongly. On the broadcast screen, he uttered something to the referee, who pulled out a red card.
Real then appealed against Bellingham’s exit, claiming it was Mansano’s mistake.
The RFEF, however, saw no problem with the referee’s decision and imposed disciplinary action on Bellingham.
Attention was also drawn to what Bellingham said to referee Mansano. Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said Bellingham shouted in English, “That’s a bloody goal,” and claimed that he was speaking about the situation itself, where the score was not recognized, not abusive language towards the referee.
In the end, Real lost its key player and will play round 28 against Celta Vigo on the 11th and round 29 against Osasuna on the 17th. Bellingham will return to the Athletic Bilbao match on April 1 after the break from the 3rd European A match.
