Indian names everyone relates to
ramblings while sick in bed*
Few minutes back it turned Jan 1, 2014 and this is the first time ever I watched clock going past 12 on my couch, without any intoxicants in my system. Quiet and warm. Not because I’ve been spiritually elevated or something, its because I ventured outdoors in shorts and have been sick since last two days. Being sick gives you a luxury of thought. I am also trying medium for the first time to express myself, its quite impressed as an online medium for distraction-less expression. Its quite ‘zen’- ish. They’ve got the ratios, colors and fonts right.
Everyone should fall sick at least twice an year, with minimum guests showing their ‘honest generous regards’ ☺That’s the least they can do
Since I have fallen sick I’ve done a lot of chatting with my friends back home. India I feel is fragmented collection of many cultures. I experience the difference when I talk to a friend sitting in Jodhpur vs a friend sitting in Kochi. With all its problems and chaos aside, India makes a few ‘brands’ that are exported worldwide. I thought I should write them down.
I mean ‘brands’ loosely, and not measurable soft-exports like handicrafts, carpets, ‘talent’, spirituality. Something that verbally tangible and desis brag about. I haven’t lived much outside the country, but from the last one year travels in US/Europe, these come to my mind.
The ‘brands’ that people relate to. Order is immaterial.
