I should explain. We Toyota Tacoma fans and owners are ready for quite a bit of information about the next generation of mid-range trucks.

As much as we enjoy our Tacoma 2021 trucks and the previous year, it’s time to think about what’s next.

According to what most of us expect soon (probably this month), the new Toyota Tundra will be announced and launched by the end of this year.

But here the weather becomes gray and cloudy and becomes quite fluid. From the latest rumor, I think we can plan a new 2023 Toyota 4Runner gene. I feel that Toyota will more than announce the next 2023 Toyota Tacoma gene as well. This could potentially become, however, Toyota Tacoma’s next 2024 gene instead.

Toyota is the best at keeping the news of the new model secret for years. Very strategic with their announcements.

So, it’s time to talk about what we want for the next Tacoma gene.

The next Toyota Tacom gene

This is one of the funniest parts of my job — guessing what new styling, powertrain, technology and security systems will be next.

This is a high command for Toyota Tacoma. Wish list of the next generation Tacoma.

I knew I needed professional reinforcement for this task, so I signed up with the “Toyota Tacoma Enthusiast” online Tacoma forum for their feedback.

Moira exclaimed. “More room for the head …!” On a similar message, “Eww Da-vid!” I hope you all got my Schitt’s Creek recommendation.

“I’d like the back chair to bend so you can use a flat floor to load things like the f150s.” He hoped for Dan.

Ken sees a green Toyota Tacoma and a Toyota Tundra future. “They’re hybrids. It’s the same with the Tundra.”

Lee wants a little more under the hood. “More horsepower.”

Adapting the new Takome

Alex is already thinking of stepping up his tacoma. “Wheelwells that will accept 35s without taxis!

Francis wants to get to grips with things. “Handle for gripping poles on the driver’s side. Wtf Toyota.” And Dan responded to that. “Isn’t that the steering wheel?”

Jason and a few other Takome fans had this similar thought. “DIESEL DIESEL DIIEEESSSEELLLL.”

Stephan also has a wish list. “Powertrain no doubt. The current engine and transmission don’t work together. A hybrid option would be great. The aggressive look is a must.”

“4.0 standard for all TRD not only for and for the love of God rear disc brakes …” Aarona added.

Ed broke the Toyota code. “I bet Toyota engineers have infiltrated all of these Tacoma groups. It’s a big press tank. I hope it improves on the obvious flaws.” Chris is built on this. “One could only hope! Listen to your consumers, Toyota.”
