Hang in there Lauren. You’re going to get a minor tsunami of ‘nay-sayers’ and that’s how it goes when big changes occur. You can count on a lot of pushback from traditional software development types as the no-code, Citizen Developer etc trend begins to emerge. Being able to program at a higher level of abstraction with visual programming tools (front and backend both at once) will change the way we program and make it so much easier. What’s also true is those that already know how to code will find new opportunities for themselves in this new trend, once the hype settles down and the reactionary phase is over.
