Total Vision

A poem

Men peer through optic spyglass
Light and mirrors
Curves and angles
Looking for answers
Of God and angels

A throne…a metaphor?
Nay, one seat alone
From a place of rest
Above this earth we call home
He spies His creation
And considers….

All……their……works

And perhaps a bit of mirth
of laughter…
yet bittersweet
Knowing…

No king is saved
No man delivered
No horse so strong
But God’s eye alone
Sees he who fears
His name and hopes
In mercy’s scope

Total bend towards Him
In our earthly plight
Gains total salvation
A keener sight
For light from within
Now shines more clear
Through every lens
In our atmosphere
