Why do you write?

I write because I do not know how not to. It is what I know best. I have to write. It’s the only way I can silence my mind. I’ve been doing this so long (since I was 9), I could try to stop now, but I am certain none of you would want to see how badly that will turn out (I’d probably go bonkers). My brain needs it at this point, my life too.

Why do you write on Medium?

One of my close friends, Tracy Holmes pitched Medium to me. She informed me that she thought it would be a good fit for my writing. I came to this place last November not really knowing what to expect. Now that I am nestled in the very nooks and crannies of its goodness, I do not think I could leave. I have had the pleasure of reading some of the best writing I have ever laid my eyes on and with each passing day, posts get better and better. I cannot keep up, my bookmarks have bookmarks!

It’s home, you see. It just feels like home.
