The Flagship Hotel in Galveston

The Flagship Hotel in Galveston, 1980. How many of y’all ever stayed here or drank in the bar? As far as I know, this is the only hotel in history to have been erected out over the ocean like this. It was built in 1965 but had to close in 2008 after Hurricane Ike heavily damaged it. It has been demolished and now Pleasure Pier occupies this space.
