Fuck You, I’m Not A Millennial

I think the two things that differ for Gen Y and Millennials is, Gen Y experienced today’s technology when they were both in puberty, and Gen Y just entered the workforce just prior to The Great Reccesion.

We grew up with rotary phones as young children, messaged with strangers on AOL through a land line modem, and didn’t have a cell phone until we were old enough to drive or start college. Text messaging was a luxturary, and not a standard feature on a cell phone.

If Gen Y is a thing, it is a generation of people born from 1983–1990.
