Been there. Had two kids. One needed extreme parenting and the other just did exactly what you asked of him. Same parenting style with both kids, just different results from each. Extreme parenting works. Be consistent. Be fair. Mine are grown. My daughter was the tough one. And she has her own kids now. Guess what…she says we did the right things with her. And she parents her kids the same way.
