re: green colour distinctions. I cannot see the different square, but I do have an interesting observation. I used Photoshop to examine the boxes and found that on the RGB scale:

R78 G199 B16. Most boxes had these numbers.
R92 G204 B1. For the different box. Less BLUE, more RED, slight green change.

But then I used Photoshop to change the colors from RGB to CYMK. This happened.

C67 M0 Y100 K0 for most boxes.
C64 M0 Y100 K0 for the differnt box. Almost identical in CMYK. The odd box actually showed a slight fluctuation, some points reading C63, others C64.

Does that mean the RGB to CMYK conversion is culturally defined? It seems that the Himba people might be more sensative to different levels of blue, as that appears to be the largest difference in the two images. I also suspect that if presented with CMYK versions of the colors — they could not tell the difference, as it is too small to be distinguished reliably. But I do wonder…

ps. I also found that a conversion to LAB colorspace moved the colors closer together.
