We have seen recently a very bullish move from a company that was drawn in the past with family dramas and very bad timing because it was linked to blockchain activities (2017 and 2018). Glance Technologies started in 2016 had a comprehensible motive when it was launched. A mobile payment company that will be used to pay in restaurants and other merchants. The company was very transparent in their goals and like to be the disruptor in the industry. It was doing very well until family dramas unfolded. Now, its a thing of the past and there’s no need to reminisce those negative events.

We now have, I would say a great team which has a lot of potential in creating an application and company that will be accomplishing that only few companies have ever done in North America. A Leadership team that have figured out the needs of the new generation in terms of using their mobile phone for payments. The global mobile payment market was worth US$ 881 Billion in 2018 and most of this is in Asia particularly in China because of WeChat and Alipay and its still growing.

Truthfully, a company like Glance Technologies now called Perk Labs should do very well in the over all market activities because by using the technology customer’s credit card is not saved on the merchant’s PoS terminal. Its safe, secure, convenient, easy and fast. Using mobile phones to make a payment is contactless because customers doesn’t have to pull out their credit cards.

Perk Labs is leaning more on loyalty and incentive programs. Its a great way of enticing users to use the technology because they get incentivize every time someone uses it. In my research this concept will even be a disruptor in banking and finance because as everyone is starting to learn; with zero to negative interest rates that you get for your money in the bank, people will be looking for medium so they can park their money and get incentives.

Perk Hero the payment software is creating an experience for every user. Just like the social media; people likes to interact now by sending a quick message or feedback and not just traditional transaction. By using the Perk Hero, it enhanced experiences for users. It motivates more the customer because it creates a connection to restaurant/merchant.

There’s a great opportunity for Park Labs to do very well both financially and economically. There is no better time to introduce a technology where people can use and have the sense of security, be compensated, user friendly and empowerment. My 4 1/2 out of 5 star goes to the Leadership team. I am definitely onboard in this company.
