Thanks to everyone who gave feedback in the community priorities’ poll. We received 104 responses total. *drumroll* The results in all their prioritized glory, can be seen below:

1 List on major CEX — list on at least one major exchange such as Binance, Kucoin, etc.

2 Nodes/Network Stability — enable community nodes to further decentralize the Lamden network and bring more stability

  • 03/11/22 update: Contracting driver changes have been merged into dev which include a driver using HD5 files to store state on the masternode instead of using mongo — preliminary tests suggest it should be almost 3x faster at getting and setting state. In addition, code for the new nodes is being refactored to split up some of the main processes to make them more performant.
  • 02/07/22 update: successful synced node transactions on Testnet
  • 01/21/22 update: An additional full-time developer has been added to the node project. Nodes have been relieved of some of the state discovery load and additional improvements continue to be made to response times. A new Telegram bot has been added to the main Lamden channel to communicate the ongoing development and GitHub commits.
  • 11/29/21 update: team is working on consensus edge cases and secure sockets; aiming to have testnet ready for testing in Q1 2022 and mainnet ready for Q2 2022
  • 10/27/21 update: team re-confirmed this is their #1 priority during the October community call. Jeff/Benji/OnlyLuck are the dedicated developers forging ahead with a planned testnet.
  • 10/06/21 update: unit testing is complete, integration testing is in progress, and the team is close to a proof of concept / working version for testnet. Bounty posted for creating a docker for easier installation.

3 Uniswap bridge — create a wrapped TAU on Uniswap that can be bridged two-ways via LamdenLink

4 Team resources — hire additional technical resources to adequately support and enhance the growing Lamden infrastructure (LamdenLink, Lamden Wallet, Nodes, etc.); core team is doing a great job but don’t want them to get burnt out or spread too thin

  • 03/13/22 update: one of the primary Rocketswap developers will be moving to a full-time role during Q2
  • 01/31/22 update: full-time business developer role hired
  • 01/21/22 update: an additional full-time developer has been added to the node project
  • 01/16/22 update: one of the Nebula developers is transitioning to a full time role dedicated to Nebula and other Lamden-related apps

5 Mobile Wallet — create a mobile wallet that can be used on iPhone and Android devices and interact with dApps

  • 11/29/21 update: community member Evan has created a community browser-based mobile wallet
  • 11/25/21 update: iOS/Android Wallet app release estimated for late March/early April
  • 10/10/21 update: in development via Gitcoin bounty; prototype shared with community

6 Terra bridge — integrate the LamdenLink bridge with the Terra LUNA blockchain

7 Launchpad platform — create a crowdfunding platform where new tokens, projects, and liquidity can be raised via the community

  • 01/20/22 update: team shares more details on the upcoming release
  • 01/17/22 update: Mint or Burn team announces they’re developing a Launchpad platform

8 Fix “retry attempts 10 hit” error — fix the bug where transactions may error and receive a “retry attempts 10 hit” error

  • 01/21/22 update: resolved issue alongside the optimizations made to the node

9 Lamden World integration — grow Lamden World into a robust game hub where it can be connected to other gaming dApps; for example, items/points won or accumulated in Lamden World could apply or be integrated into other games, help bridge players to other games, and be a foundation for the Lamden gaming ecosystem

10 Increase Burns — increase the percentage of stamps burned during each transaction

Items that didn’t make it into the top 10 will be moved into the backlog (that doesn’t mean they’re not being worked on, they’re just lower priority and so we’re less likely to pester the team for regular updates). In late March, we’ll take another poll to prep for Q2 2022 and gauge where priorities have changed.

11 NFT marketplace — create a marketplace where users can buy/sell/auction artwork, collectibles and other digital items

12 Approval Board for Bounties — establish an approval board for reviewing dApp submissions and rewarding bounties to developers

13 Network Status Page — create a status page to convey planned and unplanned downtimes or network impacts

14 Referral Bounty — award users who refer a developer who successfully releases a Lamden dApp

15 Achievements/Trophies — NFTs triggered by certain actions within dApps, similar to trophies/achievements you might earn when playing a video game; more details

The content above is maintained by the community — the intent is to track progress across various tasks and projects. We recommend you bookmark this page and check back regularly over the coming months as this page will be updated with the current status for each item.

Also, a reminder that we now have bi-monthly check-ins scheduled with the Lamden team via Discord on the last Tuesday of every other month at 3pm PST. Additionally, keep on eye on the Reddit, Twitter, or Telegram channels for regular updates.

Cheers.
