TRAID Celebrating 3 Months! Here’s What We’ve Accomplished So Far
As we pass our 3-month milestone, we want to give our community a clear view of what we’ve accomplished so far and what we’re up to moving forward.
DEVELOPMENT
Our development team has been working tirelessly over the last 3 months with one goal in mind — to revolutionize crypto education as we know it. We’re proud to say that through sheer willpower and many sleepless nights, we’re nearing our Alpha launch and making the current functionalities of the upcoming Traid Platform available to our community for testing.
Our team has built a number of key technologies that will form part of the upcoming Traid Platform. A few foundational components have been developed, driven by pilot integrations and use cases. Along with the development, the platform is undergoing countless rounds of internal testing to make sure all technologies we’ve integrated work in perfect sync.
Here’s a quick update on our software architecture and what we’ve accomplished so far as far as the development is concerned.
Traid Platform employs Kurento WebRTC media server and a set of client APIs for transcoding (on-the-fly adaptation of codecs and formats between incompatible clients), recording (storing the media exchanged between peers in a persistent way), mixing (transforming multiple incoming streams into one single composite stream), broadcasting (delivery of video and audio media in real time) and routing of audiovisual flows.
So far we’ve developed the following backend features using Node.js, Python and a variety of other technologies:
- User registration/login.
- Basic user dashboard.
- Channel(s) creation for broadcasters.
- Video streaming capability for logged-in instructors/broadcasters.
- Video upload feature for instructors/broadcasters.
- Watching live broadcasts (for both registered and unregistered users).
- Support for video consumption from both desktop and mobile devices.
- New channel notification for logged in students.
- Converting recorded streams and uploaded media into seekable videos and integrating the rewind feature.
Our top priority moving forward as far as development is concerned is to make the current functionalities of Traid Platform available to our community for testing as soon as possible.
NEW DESIGN
Our design team has been working on revamping the user interface in order to come up with the most intuitive and user-friendly design. We’ve revamped the original design and our frontend devs are currently working on implementing it. Here’s a preview of what Traid alpha will look like once launched.
MARKETING
Though we’ve been using most of our budget towards development, we did our best to spread awareness about our project. We’ve had a flood of international video and press coverage across dozens of crypto media outlets and social channels.
VIDEO PROMOTIONS
We offer the official TRAID video in English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, German, French, Russian, Spanish and Korean. In order to reach crypto enthusiasts all across the globe and increase TRAID awareness, it’s very important for us to explain what Traid Platform is all about in various languages. Additional translations of the video will be available in near future as well.
Also, many crypto Youtubers covered our project and gave comprehensive reviews. As our message spreads, we expect other influencers to follow and update their communities about our ambitious project.
CRYPTO MEDIA OUTLETS
To boost publicity and educate the crypto community on TRAID’s vision, we submitted press releases, sponsored content publications and interviews. Publications involved the creation and overarching distribution of a wide variety of content across traditional news channels as well as more crypto-related, decentralized media outlets such as Steemit and others.
We’ll continue to increase awareness of the many intricacies and advantages of our upcoming platform and establish ourselves as the leading crypto educational hub.
INFLUENCER OUTREACH
We’ve been collecting contacts of well known and respected traders, investors, crypto influencers and content producers. We want TRAID mentioned in publications discussing blockchain, trading and investing. Additionally, by opening channels of communication with resepected figures we want to help these influencers understand what Traid is all about and oboard them as instructors on our upcoming crypto educational platform. The feedback we’ve received so far has been amazing and we already arranged initial agreements with some reputable crypto traders who are interested in becoming instructors once our platform is fully launched.

We pride ourselves on being listed on the most reputable and high-traffic crypto listing sites and apps. Our marketing department spent months reaching out to the most visited sites to arrange listings. MASTERNODE HOSTING/SHARING PLATFORMS
The biggest barriers for people looking to invest in masternodes is the technicalities involved in deploying a masternode and the number of coins required to set up a masternode. Masternode hosting and sharing platforms solve these problems, as one can invest in shares of a masternode without buying the entire collateral. There is no minimum investment, and the ROI will be identical to actually setting up a masternode. We understand that getting TRAID listed on multiple reputable exchanges is a pivotal factor that determines our success moving forward, that’s why we made it one of our top priorities. After many tiresome negotiations with dozens of exchanges, we decided to list TRAID on the following exchanges:

WHAT’S COMING UP
We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished these past 3 months, but we’re also just getting started. The next 3 months will see TRAID trading on even more exchanges, we’ll continue spreading awareness about our project and try to onboard as many instructors as possible, but most importantly we’ll continue working on Traid Platform and make the current functionalities available to our community for testing.

In the coming weeks, we’ll also unveil a project that we’ve been quietly working on for the past few months. This project will give our community a glimpse of what Traid team is capable of and give TRAID coin even more use cases.
