Change Default Web Browser in Debian
You can change the Debian Sensible Browser in a pretty straightforward way using the command line. Open the terminal window and execute the following command in it (you’d have to be the root user for this to work.):
update-alternatives — config x-www-browser
This would bring-up a table of installed web browsers in your Debian system. The one with the asterisk sign (*) left-to-it is your current default web browser. To change the default web browser just press the selection number of that particular web browser and press the Enter key. It’d do the job.
