Basic income and surviving for free
Value
The goal of the centralised money was to improve the resolution of the information flow between life forms in a supervised environment. It was one of the steps toward learning “what’s our world” using its spacetime representation.
You can get your fuel for money (“buying”) — you cannot live without money. But you don’t need that much of it. You need some fuel and something that protects the integrity of your body. At some point, you want more than that. You want to realise your potential.
You can deserve money by providing immediate value to the environment. If you deliver something the (current) environment does not need, you fail t0 get the money.
That’s a quite good approach given that the access to the resources was very limited (that led to a system, in which the resource allocation was supervised). The supervision led to the centralisation. The centralisation combined with the structure of the world led to the hierarchical system.
Now, the time has come to re-learn our metrics in a new, more connected world.

Connectivity
Learning, i.e. structuring observation, led to the development of the cloud. All observation is now encapsulated into the “information” objects. Connectivity made information almost independent of space.
Our learning becomes exponentially more effective. We explore and don’t get stuck. We still suffer from knowledge, which does not allow an easy revision and clusters like politics or countries, but life goes on at a significantly faster rate than ever before.
All life is, at least for now, spacetime information. And the perceived information is removing its constraints. Just like water when poured in a glass.

Life
Life, as far as we can tell (now), boils down to processing spacetime data. For some reason it is done by many life forms. Clustering spacetime into objects and some objects into life forms makes sense due to our perception of spacetime.
Both life forms and resources (e.g. fuel) are spacetime information objects. The information is now almost independent of space.
The new era begins — the era of re-learning the things that we used to take for granted. Re-programming arbitrary spacetime information objects may be possible. That includes plants, animals, humans as well as the non-animate objects. Creating huge energies with fusion, arbitrary reasoning with AI, arbitrary exploration with robotics and biotechnology, longevity with neuroscience. Not to mention quantum computing, which can change virtually everything. We are now re-learning our reality.

Survival for free
Life forms are all different (spacetime) data processing machines, which cannot work without the access to the fuel (resources).
As the resources become more available and the world is getting more connected, we can provide “survival for free”. This way more life forms can be given a chance to explore their own perspectives in their own unique ways rather than do (more or less) anything to survive. Allowing them to “survive for free” is the first step toward a more effective learning.

Earlier
Earlier, in a world with less easily accessible resources and the concept of possession, we artificially imposed connectivity by “starting a venture and inviting others to join it (knowing they needed fuel)”- i.e. life forms needed to join it to afford their fuel. Those who started were the pioneers with capital. Those who joined early were the top pros. A supervised version of hierarchical connectivity was good at that time. At least, it was not obvious it was wrong.

Now
In a world, in which information is almost independent of space, everyone’s direction will be a more educated guess and they will grow more effectively in their own unique ways and share their learning with many ventures. “When they want” and “because they want”.
Survival for free makes sense. It does not eliminate the incentive to learn. On the contrary, we love to do the things we love and that happens for a reason. Laziness is getting deprecated. Supervision is less important in a connected world. Reality is getting “weirder”. The reality of the future is going to be more surreal than realistic — if realistic means “what we currently think about the world”.

Basic income
Kickstarting intelligence in a connected world will soon allow all life forms to share their own unique perspectives. The incentives related to the startup/VC cluster will be re-learnt. The ventures of the future will escape political systems and knowledge, which does not allow revisions.
The future will use kickstarting intelligence. It is not only about “making survival free”, but (at some point) making “self-realisation free”.

Creativity
If we really want humans in humans, we need to be given a chance to fully realise our potential. The “survival for free” is the first step toward the “self-realisation” for free. If we want to teach machines, we must have to say something they don’t know. A lot of the bad things, which had happened in the world, happened, because of the fact that people had to fight for the resources to survive.
