Waiting is the devil?

I have this glorious piece of art I have not started. I have spent about $300-$400 on just the stuff that will become the piece. That is not counting the $500-$600 spent on tools that will be used for subsequent projects.

I started my patient waiting when I the dream of the piece penetrated my being. I had to find appropriate wood. When I finally located it I then had to wait an additional 3 months for it to dry properly. It was another couple weeks before it could be processed by a carpenter, and even now I wait to begin carving.

I’ll get there. It’s nearly time to start. Just a few more responsibilities to take care of first.
