This means that TravelChain is an economical system with decentralized management. TravelChain Delegates act as technical supervisors. TravelChain software is installed on their servers and they get TravelToken as a reward for maintaining the system.

Performance of the network and the program code of the economic system depends on the delegates.
If there is a need in changing the program code in case of the implementation of new functions of the blockchain core, delegates are in charge of making this together.
Delegates are elected by the community via real-time voting.
To become the delegate you need to operate for the community interests or tend to do it. In operating blockchain delegates will be in competitive conditions.
And to become a delegate at the current state you need to be elected by members of TravelChain community, holding tokens for atleast 20 000 000 (about 270K $ equivalent). As far as the network grows, more token mass will be required to vote for delegate.
