Pad Woon Sen Cha-om Vegan
Pad Woon Sen Cha-om is a Thai dish made with glass noodles, cha-om, and a variety of vegetables. It is a flavorful and satisfying dish that is perfect for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
* 100 grams glass noodles
* 1 bunch cha-om, chopped
* 1 onion, chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 teaspoon soy sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Soak the glass noodles in warm water for 10 minutes, or until softened. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the cha-om and cook for 2 minutes more.
4. Add the softened glass noodles, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Cook for 2–3 minutes more, or until the glass noodles are heated through.
6. Serve immediately.
Tips:
- For a more flavorful dish, you can add other vegetables, such as carrots, mushrooms, or broccoli.
* You can also add tofu or other protein of your choice.
* If you don’t have fish sauce, you can substitute 1 teaspoon of tamari or soy sauce.
