The Al-Khazneh, also known as the Treasury, is one of the most famous structures in Petra, Jordan. It is thought to have been built as a mausoleum for a Nabataean king in the 1st century AD. The façade is intricately carved with figures and symbols from Greek mythology, including griffins, centaurs, and Amazons. The Treasury is featured prominently in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
