Black Thunder is a water theme park located in Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated at the foot of Nilgiris near Mettupalayam, in Coimbatore 40 km north of the city and occupies an area of about 75 acres.

Reach the Black Thunder in the morning to avoid the rush and the afternoon sun. As the afternoon sun welcomes you, head indoors for multiple arcade games and hit the pool as soon as the sun descends. The park has a changing room, a locker room and most importantly, a nice restaurant and a refreshment stall which is great to grab a quick bite in between your rides.

Black Thunder’s huge man made lake has boating facilities, so take a boat out into the cool waters and enjoy the scenery. You could also try your hand at horse riding on the lake shore.
