So I’ve just started trying to train my brain to have lucid dreams while I sleep.

One of the ways you can do that is to write the word “Awake” on your hand to remind yourself constantly that you are awake. That way when you’re in a dream, if you remember, you can look down at your hand to check if you are in a dream or not. It’s kind of like the “Totem” in the movie ‘Inception’ if you ever saw that.

Another technique you can do is, when you are getting ready for bed, repeat to yourself “I want to wake up and be lucid in my dreams” This will remind your subconscious that you are about to enter a dream state and to be aware of that fact.

So far I’ve only tried doing it last night, I didn’t have and dreams that I remembered, but I’m going to keep trying. According to people who are lucid in their dreams all the time, its just a matter of practice and mental training.
