Time to start not only a new look to the site, but begin the process of creating a brand.
Corruption Behind Bars is the title of Gary York’s first book. We built our website around that book, and that book only. This worked, for the time being. But sooner or later, we knew we would have to do something to implement the next book into the mix.

In December of 2012 we went to go do a photo shoot in the old Bartow Jail Cells. (The image on the front of Inside the Inner Circle) We were surrounded by Detention Deputies, Bailiffs, and Sheriffs, but there was a twist to this. The officers were not managing inmates, they were inmates. (For the photo shoot)

It was amazing to see the officers play their opposite role. They would hollar and scream. Bang things around. Yell at the detention deputies that would seem to cross their path. Needless to say, you couldn’t hear a thing in the cells. It was madness, to say the least.

It was interesting to see the side of the inmate. To think of what jail would truly be like. Dark hallways, cold concrete floors, the smallest of sounds would echo through the entire jail. A spine-chilling feeling that is immediately cast upon your entrance.
Most hallways were not even lit up, which made the experience even more chilling.
After the shoot was over, and we all were back in “civilian” clothes, I started thinking “It was time…”
Time to create not just a “NEW” web design, but to create an all around brand for Gary. I believe a image is like a match, can burn bright, but over time the flame will extinguish. But a brand is like an eternal flame, which can burn bright for eternity. And that’s what I wanted to create.
I want you, the reader, to feel like you were walking through those prison’s walls. Hearing the voices echo through every wall. Immerse yourself into the story, and feel what it was like to walk in those shoes.
