One tweet, 10 years ago today, by @ConanOBrien changed my professional life in the most amazing and unexpected ways.
I remember that day vividly. Conan was going on tour and I had been asked to build a site to accompany his social media presence. The initial plan was for Conan to tweet a link to the site at 9:00 am. I spent the night before running performance tests, optimizing the server, projecting traffic based on his social following, and mentally preparing for the next morning.

I stopped at Chipotle for dinner last night after work. I was lucky and got there right as the dinner rush was ending, so there were only a few people ahead of me in line. It had been a long, exhausting day at work and I was looking forward to a simple, quick dinner. As the two elderly ladies currently ordering pondered the relative health differences of burritos and burrito bowls, I noticed the girl behind the counter look up at me and quickly look away as we made fleeting eye contact.
