Since when is it okay to put people down?

Since when is it okay to put others down?
Since when is it okay to demean women?
Since when is it okay to make fun of people with disabilities?

Since the man who some people voted in made it okay. People got to be who they always were now. But now, they could do it in public, not just in private. It's now okay to be a racist. It is okay to call people names or laugh at their differences or disabilities. Instead of this country being all-inclusive, he has divided the country and made it okay to be a despicable human being. And unbelievable, so many people are following suit, and they are okay with this type of behavior.

People are okay with being mean, bulllying, demeaning others, or hating people. He made it okay to divide us because of sexual preferences, religious beliefs, or color of their skin. Is this the world we want to live in? Is this what we want to teach our children? Instead of moving forward, where everyone has the same rights, and where everyone is welcomed and accepted for their differences, it is just the opposite now.

Is this who we want to represent our country to the world? A bigot? A man who can put women down and call people names? Forget about the hundred other reasons why he shouldn't be president. Let's just talk about common human decency, in which he has none. Yet this seems to be the new normal with so many people now. So what does that mean? It means that there are way more racists out here than you thought. It means that your neighbors or even your family and friends think it's okay to do this instead of loving one another. It means you can see them for who they really are. It means if they can back a man who thinks it's okay to do this. Then they think it's okay as well and really, what does that say about them?

So today, my friends, I ask you, how would you feel if they were talking about your child? If someone was bullying them about their disability or their sexual orientation or just the fact that they are women, would that be okay with you? No, I didn't think so, so then why is it okay to do that to someone else's child. We are all someone's child dont ever forget that. Let's all try to remember, he who has no sin, cast the first stone…None of us should pick up that rock. It is never okay to put someone else down.
