Trek Around Kathmandu Valley
The Trek Around Kathmandu Valley is an enjoyable easy trek through this ethnically gifted city. However, only a few people prefer to trek around Kathmandu and its neighboring valley of Bhaktapur. The trek takes you around the valleys of Kathmandu with beautiful fills like Shivapuri Hill (2729 m) and Nagarkot. From where a variety of Himalayas can be seen. The peaks that are noticeable from this hill are the Boudha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Shisha Pangma, and the Gaurishankar Mountains. However, the peaks that can be seen once atop Shivapuri are not limited to these mountains.
We also visit Nagarkot during this trip. Nagarkot is another fine point to take in the Himalayan scenery. From here we can see the sun fade away behind the mountains at a distance. Finally, we drive from Nagarkot to the city of Kathmandu and Trek Around Kathmandu Valley Ends.
