Here’s a point about Toronto no one has brought up yet: The Raptors need to be better at identifying talent in the draft. If they are going to pay Lowry and Ibaka (which I believe they should), then they need to make sure they hit on their draft picks. No more drafting “projects” like Bruno Caboclo or Delon Wright. Little known fact…the Raptors drafted Bruno in 2014 ahead of players like Nikola Jokic, Rodney Hood, Clint Capela, Jordan Clarkson, and Glenn Robinson III. I understand the draft is a crap shoot, but you HAVE to do better than that if you are going to be maxed out in cap space.
