Smartphone manufacturers are slowly getting rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack, and that’s a problem for many consumers. Apple began this trend with the iPhone 7, and it didn’t take very long for Samsung and Google to follow.

The recently leaked Nokia 9 flagship device is also lacking a headphone jack. People will either have to invest in an adapter or purchase new headphones entirely. For those who would just prefer to use their current headphones without having to go through the trouble of buying an adapter, it’s not the end just yet.

There are still many Android phones out there that support the 3.5mm plug, and we’re going to talk about a few of them here today.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Despite all the noise surrounding the headphone jack and USB-C, Samsung still chose to stick with the tried and proven technology with its newest flagship, the Galaxy S8. This device is almost the perfect phone. It comes with a slim design, water resistance, and edge-to-edge display.

It’s also quite powerful since it has the latest in Qualcomm Snapdragon technology.

Motorola Z2 Play

You may not have the money to buy the Samsung Galaxy S8, so that’s where the Motorola Z2 Play comes into play. It’s an affordable smartphone that has excellent battery life, and most importantly, a 3.5mm headphone jack.

One of the excuses for removing the 3.5mm jack is that more room is needed for a bigger battery. Well, it seems as if Motorola doesn’t have a problem adding a big battery while keeping the jack in place.

OnePlus 5

Apple iPhone SE

Look at that; there’s an iPhone on our list. This particular iPhone is missing a lot of new features, but you know what? It’s inexpensive and will support your high-end Bose headphone right out of the box.

Despite this being an older iPhone, you’ll still get the chance to run ARKit apps, use Apple Pay, and take advantage of Touch ID.

Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus

Look again, Bob, another iPhone on our list. When will it end? OK then, both the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are similar to the iPhone SE where the internals is concerned. These are the final iPhones to support the 3.5mm headphone jack.

You’ll get a larger display and a more impressive front-facing camera with this product.

Bear in mind; there will come a time when the majority of smartphones released will not have a regular plug. For now, however, we say take advantage of this ancient technology while it lasts.
