Week three at the Iron yard found us taking a break from html and css. We spent the majority of our time being introduced to Adobe Illustrator. Our homework assignments were relatively simple compared to the last two week. We designed logos and wireframes for an imaginary mobile app that we will be working on more this coming week. Our assignment is to design a mobile app for a fictional bank called “Branchless”.
My idea for the app is to create an online “envelope” system to allow users to manage their budgets. I’ve found that most online budgeting systems help users track their spending, but I want to build an app that allows users to plan out their budgets and then helps them keep to their financial goals.
Because homework wasn’t extremely heavy this week I was able to start designing the layout for my future portfolio. Here it is:https://trevorbyron.github.io/Portfolio-Layout/
