I don’t feel that way about it at all. Yes, it is naive to say there is no racism towards blacks in America, but no it is not impossible for blacks to be racist either. American culture is based on white Americans ideals, values, way of life, and traditions. Anything associated with the black American community is seen in a negative way and is unacceptable way to look, act, think, or even be associated with if you want to be a “respected” member of society.
Blacks can dress, act, think, and participate in anything that is popular within white communities and be seen as respectable citizens. If whites partake in any way of popular black culture they are “wiggers” and frowned upon by the majority of Americans.
Blacks were forced to take on a white cultural identity for many years in America. Learn the language, religion, customs, fashion, and believe that white American culture is the superior and only way to live. Blacks lost their own identity and history then expected to just live with it as they carry the last name of the men who raped, beat, and disgraced their grandparents.
Once blacks actually gained a unique identity and pride in who they are Americans belittled and ostracized anything the black community created or embraced as their own. Now they are acting out in frustration that they are tired of being put down and looked down upon because they are stuck in a place that drives so many of them to make choices in desperation and survival. A place that makes becoming adequately educated enough to advance themselves any further than a life where they can only hope to make .50 cents over minimum wage is an absolute miracle, but drug dealing can make them 500 dollars in one day.
They act in a lifetime of built up frustration because after years of feeling like inferior American trash and having their way of life be the be seen as one big joke to America, they just want Americans to give them an actual opportunity to be respected citizens that can be accepted for who they are as Americans. They want Americans to really stand up for them because they do not have enough power or guidance to make real change.
They need the rest of America to get politicians to actually focus productively on bringing their educational standards brought up to speed with the majority of America so the next generations can improve over time and become self-reliant. Instead of just sitting around degrading them telling what is wrong with them, but don’t give any useful guidance or solutions.
We are suppose to be a nation United that strives to make our nation strong as a whole regardless of anything else. Now they’ve become outraged because America has just found ways to keep degrading them instead of treating them as fellow Americans. America made a mockery of their struggles and have treated them like bastard children who are not accepted as or seen as actual Americans.
Yes, they have made childish temper tantrums, but it is a desperate cry for help that was acted out in anger. A truly strong nation would be like a family and help a member in need get back on their feet regardless how dysfunctional the family. Yet, we sit here so weak that we would rather find any excuse to be lazy selfish assholes and not do anything that doesn’t benefit ourselves.
We all could just shut up about it, make the necessary changes to allow these communities to strive on their own and once in for all blacks will have no excuse or reason for further outcry.
