No Such Thing as a Low-Energy Rich Country

Energy consumption is the prime marker of a society’s wealth.

Honestly, I don’t have much more to say.

If you’re an American or European advocating for lowering global energy consumption, your opinion is a product of privilege.

Most Americans have no concept of how wealthy and privileged they are. This is especially true of American women and minorities, who are constantly force-fed the lie that they are somehow oppressed.

Energy is the only way to create wealth.

We are all incredibly privileged to live in a time where energy is so abundant.

The climate catastrophists seem to forget that energy consumption is a net good for humanity.

The only reason we have the time to worry about climate change is because we have access to so much material abundance - which has only been possible through fossil fuels.

The only way forward is up.

We must consume more energy if we are to continue to advance as a species.

It is undeniable that fossil fuels have been a net positive for humanity.

Moving forward, we must find ways to increase energy consumption without wrecking the environment.

Nuclear and geothermal seem to be the 2 most viable options in terms of sustainability and reliability.
