1. Swim training

It doesn’t matter whether your distance is short or long swimming will always be a painful part of the race. You need to make some efforts and increase your skills and strategies to clear this round. Be calm and try to clear your vision.

There are mainly four primary points to enhance your skills.

  • Clear your vision in an efficient way

Be clear about your body position during swimming. It is true that swimming efficiently will always be beneficial to limit your time. To improve your swimming techniques and body position, here are some tips are given below.

  1. Command on stroke: A difficult swim stroke is not the requirement of the mini-triathlon. Use a normal stroke by extending one arm in front of your body, and the other to push your back. Always keep in mind that your strokes should never make any hurdles in your vision.
  2. Use of forearm: Grasp your fist during swimming. It will improve your forearm to pull the stroke underwater.
  3. Use both arms and kicks: Use arms and kicks both to swim in the pool. Remember that only one thing, either arm or kick, will make you more tired before the limited time.
  4. Use kickboard: By using a kickboard, you can focus on your kick during swimming. It will help to keep your arms straightened on the board.
  • Focus on your head position

Your head should be in a down position with a small part of it will above the water. Keep in mind that your head shouldn’t be moved with your body during swimming.

  • Never try to cross your hands.

Crossing Your hand will create a problem for swimming. This is a widespread and popular mistake of a swimmer. Crossing from the right side arm during breathing from the left side will result in arms crossing. It will collapse your arms and result in a stuck position.

To correct this mistake, be focused on your head position and pull your stroke in a straight line.

3. Run training
