The End To Used To

What were you used to?

This s not a great title.

‘Used to’ is in the past and the past doesn’t count in the now.

When the past would be of significance in the now you would be in the past.

The now is all you’ve got with the emphasis on all.

This is why we can’t end all the things we got used to doing and thinking.

It just isn’t there.

I’ve come to realize this the past few months.

I used to think, do and believe a lot.

I used to think you had to work hard at living my purpose with total devotion to get what I wanted.

I used to think that it would take me about five years in order to be successful when I started something new and meaningful.

I used to think I could use the knowledge of other people with similar purposes, interests and talents that had already been or were still successful.

I used to think I had to work long hours to not feel guilty at the end of the day.

I used to think I could do anything and be anything because I knew I could overcome any fear.

And of course there is a lot more of this.

Each time these thoughts come again, they go again.

These thoughts therefore come less and less.

Other new and fresh thoughts come in and go again.

Some of these new and fresh thoughts are real to me, so real, because they come from the inside out.

My feeling of well-being, me being successful, me being responsible, me being fearless, me being knowledgeable, me being resilient, me being OK is already there.

I don’t need to be someone or get to anything to be OK.

And for you it is the same.

Mara Gleason, one of the great facilitators of The Three Principles out there, discovered this in her own way. Check out the video below and enjoy.
