My career in fintech started as a misstep. What started out as customer research in the financial inclusion space turned into something more than I could ever imagine. A rapidly growing digital community across an entire continent that gave me the tools and knowledge to launch a fintech product in multiple markets. This community built trust, provided significant product insight, created an evangelist following, an organic growth cycle, and most importantly deep customer and personal connections. Community brings people together, serves as a voice for the greater good, and has the power to influence change.
