Mitt Romney called Donald Trump what?

So yesterday former republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney announced that he would have a speech today regarding the 2016 Presidential election.
In his speech today he called Republican front runner Donald Trump a “Con Man”. I mean hey he is a con man he started a business called “Trump University” that basically promised students the world and provided them with something they will remember for their whole lives, getting duped by Trump. Below is the statement Romney made regarding Trump.
“Here’s what I know: Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud,” Romney said. “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing members of the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat.”- Mitt Romney
After his rant about Trump he said that the republican parties other three candidates (Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich) are suitable choices for the nominee.
Romney also brought up the national security threat that Trump brings to the table with this comment
“Mr. Trump is directing our anger for less-than-noble purposes. He creates scapegoats in Muslims and Mexican immigrants. He calls for the use of torture. He calls for the killing of innocent children and family members of terrorists. He cheers assaults on protesters,” he said, adding that Trump would trample First Amendment protections.
Trump has been attacking Romney back even before the speech via social media by tweeting and posting a video on Facebook calling Romney soft on conservative issues.

I have brought millions of people into the Republican Party, while the Dems are going down. Establishment wants to kill this movement!

I am the only one who can beat Hillary Clinton. I am not a Mitt Romney, who doesn’t know how to win. Hillary wants no part of “Trump”

Why did Mitt Romney BEG me for my endorsement four years ago?

Honestly I was hoping Mitt Romney was going to announce his candidacy in this speech, he seems presidential and would be a better option than what is on the table for us. We will see what happens but I doubt Romney will be able to change anyone’s minds.
