How to Create a MyEtherWallet ERC-20 Compatible Wallet
Follow these steps to make your own MEW (MyEtherWallet) to access and manage your TrillCoin (TLC).
Step 1: Go to MyEtherWallet.com
The first screen will teach you all about MyEtherWallet, if you haven’t read it before, it is suggested to read through it.
Step 2: Create your Wallet (No Account required)
After learning about your wallet, you will be at this screen:
Step 3: Wallet Password
Create your wallet password. Make sure you “show” it by clicking on the “eye” icon. You only enter it once! See below:
Step 4: Save your Keystore File:
MEW will then have you save your “Keystore” file. This file is the same as your private key. Anyone with this file and your password can access your funds! Keep it safe!
Step 5: Print/Save your Private Key!
In case you lose your keystore, you can print, copy/paste to text document, or just save the PDF of your private/public key (from print option). Anyone with your private key can access your funds! See below:
Step 6: Open Your New Wallet
Now that you have generated your new wallet, you can open it by clicking on “Send Ether & Tokens:”
We suggest to open your wallet with your “Keystore” file saved during creation along with your password. You can always use your private key if needed as well.
Step 7: Add TrillCoin (TLC) To Wallet:
On the right side of your screen after you open your wallet, you can fill in the contract address, symbol, and decimals for TLC. This will allow your MEW wallet to interact with the TLC blockchain
That’s it! You have created a new MEW (MyEtherWallet) and added the TLC token contract address.
