10 Best Restaurants to Visit While in Baguio
- Good Taste

Good Taste is a 24/7 Chinese fast food chain serving affordable family-style lauriat dishes, rice toppings, pansit, mami, siopao and more. The food court style setup allows it to accommodate large groups of people. Word is, the place is quite full throughout the day especially during lunch and dinner. It’s for students and office goers during breaks and for late night eats. It’s not the best place to treat balikbayans or tourist visitors, unless they’re looking for something local. We recommend their famous buttered chicken, lechon kawali and broccoli. Our insider tip is to watch as orders get sent down in a small old school food conveyor box, from 2nd to 1st floor.
2. Canto Bogchi Joint

Canto Bogchi Joint is an American restaurant serving steaks, ribs, tacos and fries, but is most popular for its Lomo ribs. It’s for people who loves big saucy ribs. It’s not for big groups who don’t like to queue on a restaurant’s good day. We recommend the famous Lomo Ribs. Our insider tip is that you can order from any restaurant in the establishment and have it served wherever you choose to be seated.
3. Don Henrico’s

Don Hen, as it’s more popularly known, traces its beginnings from the kitchen of its founder in Baguio almost two decades ago. He has the talent and passion for coming up with new flavors by mixing sauces, so it was a natural decision for him to open up an Italian restaurant that showcases his talents.
He opened up his first branch along Session Road in Baguio in 1993, hoping to create something that would click with the university students in the city. And click it did.
However, it became an instant hit not only among students, but also among families in Baguio and even among tourists visiting the city.
Word soon spread about this up and coming Italian restaurant that serves great food. And it wasn’t long before Don Henrico’s opened up its first branch in Metro Manila. Today, it has 10 branches spread across Luzon and the Visayas, including the original branch along Session Road, SM Baguio, Malate, Tomas Morato, at the Brickroad in Sta. Lucia Mall in Cainta, Greenhills, West Avenue, Alabang, SM Mall of Asia, and at the Ayala Center Cebu.
4. Choco-late de Batirol

Choco-late de Batirol is a Filipino garden cafe that’s said to be the home of the best hot chocolate in the Philippines. It’s for ambient breakfasts or a chilly afternoon merienda date. It’s not for late nights and drinking sessions. We recommend the suman, turon, and Red Egg and Tomato Salad. If you’re feeling adventurous, try their customer-recommended orange flavored tsokolate as well. Our insider tip is visit on weekends for live acoustic music. Fun Fact: Batirol is a traditional wooden rod used to make the tsokolate thick, hence the name Choco-late de Batirol.

Being at the center of the city, Vizco’s has been a signature Baguio restaurant to visit. It’s a café famous for its cakes which are freshly made and affordable. It’s for people trying to find a restaurant that will get you your money’s worth. It’s not for guests who want a spacious place to eat at. We recommend their wildly popular Strawberry Short Cake, topped with fresh strawberries.
6. Rose Café & Eatery

There is a place in Baguio City that offers a specialized menu that only true blooded Baguioans know. A place where simplicity defeats the purpose of ambiance. A place where waiting is worth the food. A place where visitors and tourists in Baguio should experience to complete their Baguio visit… A place we call Rose Café & Eatery.
The owners did not advertise or use media marketing. They concentrated in maintaining the quality and taste of their pancit guisado and chicken/pork mami. This created a stream of followers, thus, it was the customers who made use of the method “word of mouth” marketing.

8. Iggy’s Inn and Bonuan Seafood Restaurant

The cozy and homey interiors of Iggy’s Inn and Bonuan Seafood Restaurant perfectly complement their lutong-bahay meals. Dining in this resto makes you feel like you’re having lunch at your grandparents’ home.
Start healthy or just forget about your diet with Iggy’s kilawing kambing (P150) and chicharon bulaklak (P165) appetizers. A light dish, the kilawin is heaped with thin slices of goat meat. The chicharon bulaklak is crispy and tasty as expected. What’s different about Iggy’s version of this pulutan is that they drain the fat from the mesentry. It’s as healthy as chicharon bulaklak could get.
For seafood viands, try the nilasing na hipon sa gin (P150) and inihaw na bangus (P180). The nilasing na hipon is marinated for hours before being deep-fried. The inihaw na bangus packs in an earthy flavor. The fish itself is also meaty. At Iggy’s, they choose the best seafood ingredients.
For dessert, make sure to try the leche flan (P45). Iggy’s leche flan is firm, creamy, and rich. The resto, however, adds a twist by making you add calamansi juice on top of the leche flan. How does it taste? Try it yourself by visiting Iggy’s at 25-A Southdrive Road, Baguio City.
9. O’ Mai Khan’

O’ Mai Khan’ literally means “come over,” a fitting name as locals and tourists flock the restaurant for their Mongolian barbecue buffet (P150–210) and hot pot (P160–420).
Like most Mongolian buffet restos, you start off your buffet experience at O’ Mai Khan’ by choosing your own meat, vegetables, and other ingredients to pile into your bowl. Because the restaurant is located in Baguio, expect only the crunchiest and freshest vegetables.
If you want a different choice of rice meal, try O’ Mai Khan’s Ania Khan’s Bulgalbi (P240), or broiled beef ribs, tartar’s chicken (P170)and shrimp tempura (P240). For something light, order Ania Khan’s Salad (P110).
