UNIQUE FILIPINO CULTURE

Culture is common patterns of behaviors, action and relationships, socialization-learned, knowledge abilities and understanding. It can also be seen as the formation of a group identity fostered by social behaviors that are unique to the group.
"Culture includes belief, food, what we wear, how we wear it, our language, family, music, what we believe is right or wrong." We filipino are very creative in everything we do so we also have a very unique culture. Every country has their own culture and tradition but filipino culture is the best. That is why many foreigners come back here in the Philippines because they feel our sincerity of welcoming them and joining us to celebrate our own culture and tradition. Filipino culture make more unique because of widely and freely by accepting and preserving our own culture by introducing others and by adapting it.

Food

Filipino is known as the lovers of rice. It's limited that you will see filipino who don't eat rice unless they are on a strict diet. Here in the Philippines there are a lot of restaurants who's inspired to eat a lot of rice. They have unlimited rice to gain more customers and to preserve our culture that we have. As a filipino I also loved eating rice and we filipino loved sharing what we had, like sharing eating in a Boodle fight you will eat and you will share what you have with them.

Here in the Philippines there's a dish that loves by every filipinoproudly-Pinoy food you can try are adobo, sinigang na baboy, lechon, and halo-halo and more.

Language

English is our second language or we are also known as a universal language. Filipino and English become our official language here in the Philippines. Here In the Philippines, there are about 76 to 78 major language groups, with more than 500 dialects. That was because our country was conquered by the spanish and later on the american. As of now we are still using different languages for us to communicate to others, it is one of our keys when you know many languages.

Traditional

This is one of the best unique filipino cultures we have. We are known as most hospitable, and we are appreciated by many people for doing good things to others even though they don’t know each other or just strangers. and one of the examples is "pagmamano sa mga matandaan" this one culture we had before and still now we do it when we go to our grandparents showing some respect to the eldest. Also we used to say ate, kuya, meaning, manang also showing respect to others. And the most we had even before is bayanihan even now filipino love to help others and that thing I’m proudly to be a Filipino.

We are well known as very religious people.roman catholic has a huge percentage here in the Phillippine. Roman catholic was introduced by Ferdinand Magellan in 1521. Now in our generation there’s a lot of people who is really devoted to their being religious just like the statue of black nazarene. Every year many people gather to celebrate and to devote to black nazarene. The Nazarene statue is considered by most Filipino Catholics to be miraculous, able to cure terminal cancers and other diseases, to grant prayers, and to assist those in need. we also have Muslim they are located at the Mindanao they have there own beliefs and culture but we still unite by loving and caring to each other and to help others.

Celebration

Another great thing to know about filipino culture is that every filipino loves to celebrate any occasion. May it be simple like graduation, birthday, Job promotion, and more. Many filipino here in the Philippine culture and tradition have been known worldwide and is one of the main reasons foreigners love spending the holidays in the country. That's why there are a lot of foreigners who love to come back here and to join us to celebrate some of the biggest events here in the philippines.
