Feeling It.
Daniel Johnson

This piece spoke to me.

I’m turning 27 this year and am currently in the midst of an existential crisis. Is the dream that I can support myself one day with words a delusion? Are my thoughts even worthy of compensation? Do people care what I have to say? Tough to say. I try not to compare myself to others, because often times it’s a matter of being at the right place at the right time and knowing the right people, than actual talent or drive.

The only thing we can do is keep writing, keep working to pay the bills, and keep making connections. Hopefully things will pan out. If not, well then at least you’ve dedicated your time doing something you’re passionate about. Not everyone can say that much.
