How to Elegantly Respond to Any Critique Coming Your Way.
Anna Sabino

I can relate to negative criticism in the writing field. When I first started my new position as a blogger/editor, one of the first articles I wrote was completely slammed down by another editor. I was brought into a room and told I was unprofessional in my writing. I was ready to quit — go back to doing something I wasn’t passionate about until my boss talked me off the ledge. I realized that writing is a very personal thing. Some people may be on your wavelength and some people may not. That’s not to say that your particular brand of writing is wrong and no-one has the right to criticize what you have to say. Thanks for taking the time to write and remind us all why we do what we do. I, for one, enjoy your work!
