So many more jobs are going to be lost to forms of automation like bots and self driving cars. It’s pretty inevitable at this point. And once these jobs go, it’s very unlikely that they’re coming back (sorry mr. Trump).

I think just as companies are having to adapt to this future, so will regular people and workers. Perhaps it’s a more societal or policy issue.. I don’t known what the solution is or what people will be able to do to support themselves, but we need to think about these things now.

One idea is the concept of universal basic income. It’s intriguing, although controversial. Who knows what the solution will be. Ultimately, we really need to think about new ways of structuring our changing society.
