Thoroughly enjoyed your article. I’ve never been one to make a big deal out of physical beauty (though, on occasion, I’ve been referred to as attractive) and I’ve never dated anybody because of their looks (though I will admit to *not* dating someone whose looks repelled me), and yet, I married the handsomest man in the neighborhood.

He also doesn’t care much about looks — and there are no arguments over bathroom mirror grooming time or who has used whose ‘products’…at least not in 25 years!

I do wish everybody could just forget the whole physical beauty thing — getting them as a prize is not a prize for YOU — it’s *their* prize! Finding the proverbial and over-used inner beauty really is where the joy in life is. Just try having a good conversation — or joke — or sex, for that matter! — with a nicely shaped nose!
